Dear Fellow Canadians,

We keep getting told there is not much we can do about COVID-19 except to self-isolate, clean surfaces, and wash our hands.

This is a lost opportunity because there is strong evidence that Vitamin D can reduce the probability of being infected, and if infected, reduce the severity / mortality.

Solarc has been trying to get various levels of government and media to emphasize this throughout Canada, to no avail. Vitamin D tablets are low-cost, safe and effective; practically a zero-risk proposition. If all Canadians were to dose-up, it is a statistical certainty that COVID-19 will be mitigated to some extent.

Now is the time to act.

The message is simple: Take your Vitamin-D tablets daily!

We encourage you to pass this on to everyone in your email address book.
And if you know anyone in government or media, especially them.

Thank you!

Note1: Vitamin D toxicity is possible only for very high oral doses taken over a long period of time, or for oral doses combined with other Vitamin D sources such as by injection, and/or UVB light from natural sunlight or a UVB phototherapy device. For Government of Canada information on Vitamin D see: https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/food-nutrition/healthy-eating/vitamins-minerals/vitamin-calcium-updated-dietary-reference-intakes-nutrition.html

Note2: If you have a Solarc UVB phototherapy device, yes it makes Vitamin D in your skin and it is cleared by Health Canada for that use. A single full-body dose can make nominally 10,000 IU. Please request Solarc’s “Vitamin-D User’s Manual Supplement” for further information.

Please review the studies and documents below, decide for yourself, and consider dosing up yourself and your family on ordinary Vitamin D tablets. Consider taking 1000 to 4000 IU per day, and possibly more if you are significantly deficient, depending on age and other factors.
